4.1 Payment Processing

Advanced Math Lab (STEM Lantern) uses our ranking engine to suggest the next skills to teach. Instructors may also use third-party artificial-intelligence services to explain those suggestions, support lesson planning, and prepare progress notes. You will see progress reports in your parent dashboard. Instructors remain responsible for the teaching plan.

When an instructor uses these tools, we send a de-identified learning summary. That summary can include school grade, skill names, mastery scores, learning-plan counts, and retention-check status. It does not include the child's name, parent name, email, phone number, or home address.

The AI providers we use are OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google (Gemini). These providers may process data outside Canada, including in the United States, under their own privacy terms:

We do not use children's personal information to train public AI models.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
