Last Updated: January 17, 2026

Your Right to Data Deletion

Under Canadian privacy laws, you have the right to request deletion of your personal information. This page explains how to request deletion of your data from Skill Samurai Saskatoon's Registration Portal.

How to Request Data Deletion

Step 1: Contact Us

To request deletion of your personal data, please contact us using one of the following methods:

Email: saskatoon@skillsamurai.com

Phone: 306-280-3048

Mail: Room 201, 3502 Taylor Street East, Saskatoon, SK

Step 2: Provide Required Information

In your request, please include:

  • Your full name
  • Email address associated with your account
  • Phone number (if available)
  • Clear statement that you want to delete your data
  • Any specific data you want deleted (if not requesting full deletion)

Step 3: Verification

For security purposes, we may need to verify your identity before processing your deletion request. We will contact you using the email address or phone number associated with your account to confirm your request.

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you request data deletion, we will delete the following information:

  • Account information (email, password hash, session tokens)
  • Parent/guardian information (names, addresses, phone numbers)
  • Child information (names, dates of birth, school information)
  • Emergency contact information
  • Medical and allergy information
  • Lead capture form submissions
  • Email automation preferences

Data That May Be Retained

Some data may be retained for legal or business purposes:

  • Payment Records: Financial transaction records may be retained as required by law (typically 7 years for tax purposes)
  • Enrollment Records: Historical enrollment records may be retained for business records and legal compliance
  • Waiver Acknowledgments: Signed waiver forms may be retained for legal protection
  • Audit Logs: System logs may be retained for security and compliance purposes

If you have active enrollments or outstanding payments, we may need to retain certain information until those obligations are resolved.

Processing Time

We will process your deletion request within 30 days of verification. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted. If we are unable to delete certain data due to legal or business requirements, we will explain why and what data will be retained.

Third-Party Services

Please note that we use third-party services that may also store your data:

  • Stripe: Payment processing data. You may need to contact Stripe separately to delete payment data. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Brevo: Email service data. Email addresses used for transactional emails may be retained in Brevo's system. See Brevo's Privacy Policy.
  • Facebook: If you interacted with our Facebook ads or Lead Ads, Facebook may retain data. You can manage your Facebook data through Facebook's settings.

Impact of Data Deletion

Please be aware that deleting your data will:

  • Permanently delete your account
  • Remove your access to the registration portal
  • Cancel any pending enrollments (if applicable)
  • Stop all email communications
  • Remove your information from our active systems

Important: If you have active enrollments or outstanding payments, please resolve these before requesting data deletion, or contact us to discuss your options.

Alternative: Account Deactivation

If you prefer to temporarily disable your account instead of permanently deleting your data, you can contact us to deactivate your account. Deactivated accounts can be reactivated later, and your data will be retained. This may be a better option if you plan to use our services again in the future.
